Hi! I'm K Owusu.
Builder of digital learning ecosystems.

I work at the intersection of education, curriculum design, and software engineering. My journey over the last two decades has taken me from leading computer science departments in the UK to developing national STEM frameworks in the UAE, where I am currently based.

I am a strong believer in building practical solutions rather than just researching them. I actively code and design platforms like SpellMe and Wurkbuk to make structured literacy and personalized learning accessible to diverse communities.

A few other highlights:

  • I have lived, studied, and taught across four continents, which deeply influences the international focus of my work.
  • When I am not building educational web applications, I am often experimenting with 3D printing, electronics and hardware modifications.
  • I am currently focused on tracking the cultural implications and risks of AI in education to ensure systems are grounded in solid research.
  • My name actually is K (short for Kwabena).

Feel free to look around, read my latest research on 21st Century Chalk, or reach out to connect.
